One of the most important aspects of public speaking is knowing your material.  Nerves can affect every aspect of your presentation, from your outward appearance to the delivery of your selected topic or project.  Knowing more about your topic or project than you’ll include in your presentation will help you remain calm, even in those moments when your nerves are poised to get the best of you.
