Explore FDEP Stormwater Management Certification

Since the early 1970s, the US Environmental Protection Agency has been working with individual states to preserve the environment and conserve our natural resources by helping to create state entities, such as Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). State agencies, like Florida’s,  are also working to train individuals on how to properly manage, conserve, and preserve the resources we value most through their certification programs.

Atkins University has now teamed with in-house experts to bring you up close and personal to the professional certifications that are relevant and pertinent to our business.  Certification Central” will air on Tuesday, November 15, at 12:30pm Eastern.  This 30-minute webinar will explore the FDEP certification for stormwater management.

Join us as we discover the purpose of—and need for—the FDEP certification. Adam Green, an engineer in our Tampa, FL, office will explain how properly managed design, construction, and maintenance of erosion and sediment controls during construction can help ensure the long-term operation and life of a stormwater system post- construction.

Keep in mind that our changing environment continues to impact every aspect of our business; and the need to stay competitive in our industry is at an all-time high. Based on those facts alone, plan to attend Certification Central on Tuesday, November 15, at 12:30pm Eastern. You may find the information you’ll receive is just what your current and prospective clients are looking for!

If you hold a different certification, and believe your knowledge would benefit Atkins’ professional communities, or if there is a certification that you are interested in learning more about, contact Atkins University at learn.na@atkinsglobal.com . Tell us what we can do for you.
